Exhibition for UNICEF, Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv, 2017

At the time of the opening, over one million children had been affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine. UNICEF needed more than a report — they needed a statement that would make society listen. Port of Culture created the exhibition at Mystetskyi Arsenal as part of the large-scale campaign «You Are Among Us».

From first conversation to opening night — 3 weeks. Exhibition space: 3,000 m².

Six artists and five organisations working directly in the east: Dasha Koltsova, Maria Kulikovska, Oksana Parafenyuk, Yellow Bus, IZOLYATSIA, Odyssey Donbas. Port of Culture developed the concept and exposition plan, brought together the artists, wrote all texts, and produced the opening and events programme.
