Ukraine's First International Arts Week for Gender Equality, UN Women
Port of Culture produced HeForShe Arts Week in Ukraine two years running — bringing a global UN Women movement previously held only in New York, London, and Barcelona to Kyiv.
On March 8, the Gulliver shopping centre, the Pedestrian Bridge over the Dnipro, and the National Art Museum of Ukraine were illuminated in HeForShe magenta. Artist Alevtina Kakhidze created an interactive gender installation at Zoloti Vorota metro station, seen by thousands daily.
